Apartments in Alcossebre with a pool are the norm, but not all pools are the same. Before you book, it's worth checking three things: whether there's a children's pool, whether it opens all year or only in season and what's around it (garden, sea, sun terrace).
Adults' pool and children's pool
If you're travelling with young children, the most practical choice is a complex with two pools: one for adults and a shallow one for children.
- Al Andalus: adults' and children's pools set in a large garden, 7 minutes from Cargador beach.
- Marino and Marino Superior: adults' and children's pools in a pedestrianised seafront complex in Las Fuentes.
- Arcos II: adults' and children's pools in fenced grounds, a short stroll from Las Fuentes.
- Arcos I: adults' and children's pools plus mini golf.
- Jardines del Puerto: a large pool and a children's pool, next to the marina.
- Marcomar: seasonal adults' and children's pools, at the foot of the Serra d'Irta.

Pool with sea views
Casablanca is the standout: the complex is right on the front line of Playa Romana, with a seasonal pool surrounded by palm trees and the Mediterranean behind it. It's the choice if you want to pick between pool and sea every day without crossing a road.

Pool in the town centre
If you want to do everything on foot and still have a pool, there are two options with a lift: Bovalar, with adults' and children's pools, a garden and sun terrace, and Mare Nostrum, with a shared pool and sun terrace, two minutes from Cargador.
Pool, garden and villa
The Villas Sunset have a pool with sun loungers and, on top of that, each villa has its own garden, terrace and barbecue.

Seasonal pools: what to bear in mind
- Most communal pools open in season, with opening times set by each complex. If you're travelling in spring or autumn, check the listing or ask when booking whether it will be open.
- Casablanca and Fuente Sol have seasonal pools; Ibiza has a nearby pool in summer.
- El Rocíohas no pool: it's a simple option in the town centre, a stone's throw from Cargador.
Pool or beach: do you really need one?
Alcossebre has four Blue Flag beaches in 2026: Cargador, Romana, El Moro and Manyetes. With young children, a pool gives you peace of mind in the afternoon and saves taking the car; for couples, a good beach nearby is often enough. If you're unsure, the accommodation comparison helps you decide on other features.
